Press Release

techshowLegal Talk Network recently traveled to Chicago with a team of producers, engineers, and marketers to cover ABA TECHSHOW®, presented by the ABA Law Practice Division. The three-day conference offered attendees educational tracks, networking events, and a packed expo hall. While at the show, Legal Talk Network produced live video interviews, session blogs, photos and social media coverage, and 14 Special Reports produced straight from the conference.

The goal was to capture valuable insights from speakers, attendees, and those who organized ABA TECHSHOW. In doing so Legal Talk Network was able to offer bonus content to those who attended and a peek into the conference for those who could not attend.

“The educational value of ABA TECHSHOW is impressive and we wanted to share that with our large and growing audience of legal professionals,” Legal Talk Network CEO Adam Camras said. “We’re always excited to use our reach within the industry to help attorneys stay up to date on the latest technology, information, and news. If you didn’t make it to the conference, this is a good snapshot of why TECHSHOW needs to be on your calendar for next year.

Complete coverage of the conference:

This was Legal Talk Network’s fourth year attending TECHSHOW and its second year offering insider coverage, expanding on last year’s Special Reports to also include live video streaming in 2016. The video interviews were hosted by Dennis Kennedy and ABA TECHSHOW Vice-Chair Adriana Linares, who will be the chair for the 2017 conference.

“Dennis Kennedy and I have had a dream for 10 years to do live video streaming from ABA TECHSHOW, and we want to thank Legal Talk Network for making this possible,” Adriana Linares, who also hosts New Solo and the Florida Bar Podcast on Legal Talk Network, said during the interviews. Dennis Kennedy co-hosts the Kennedy-Mighell Report, also produced and distributed through Legal Talk Network.

In addition to ABA TECHSHOW, Legal Talk Network has covered the ABA Annual Meeting, Above the Law’s Academy for Private Practice as well as its Converge conference, and Marijuana Reception, ABA Midyear, the ABA Law Practice Division Fall Meeting, Clio Cloud Conference, LegalTech West Coast and LegalTech New York, the National Association of Legal Assistants Annual Conference, Mass LOMAP’s Annual Super Marketing Conference, the Florida Bar Annual Convention and the association’s Winter Meeting, the Workers Injury Law and Advocacy Group Conference, and the ABA’s National Summit on Innovation in Legal Services.

“It’s a real pleasure to cover ABA Techshow because of the commitment and dedication of the fine people involved. We’re fortunate to have many of our hosts participating, either through the board or as regular speakers,” said Legal Talk Network Executive Producer Laurence Colletti. “It’s very important to us, as a network, to be at events like this and share the cutting edge developments in the legal profession. Hat tip to all the volunteers, attendees, and staff.”
