“We really got started in the directory space with bail bonds agents and offices, process servers and private investigators,” says Carlyle. “Hopefully you never need these services, but if you do at least you have a trusted place to go to find a trusted professional.”

Confluence Magazine recently published an article about the expansion of Lawgical to house five new employees in marketing, audiovisual production, and communication. Lawgical CTO Trent Carlyle was quoted numerous times.

Excerpts:

“We’ve grown like crazy over the years,” says Carlyle. “We like to say that we’re always in startup mode. We’re always looking for the next exciting thing that will help us grow.”

The one thing Carlyle and company aren’t looking for is investment capital. “We don’t have any investors and we’re for the most part debt-free,” he says.

Lawgical bought an old factory in RiNo as its offices in October 2012. “We’ve always been flying under the radar,” says Carlyle. “This space allows us to get involved in the community even if we serve a very niche market.”
