Denver, CO – PInow Marketing Consultant Mindy Naumer recently appeared on the PI’s Declassified podcast to discuss online marketing for investigators. The show addressed common questions from investigators about having a website, using social media and blogs, and getting links.

During the show, Naumer noted that the most common marketing question she gets asked is, “How do I get to be #1 on Google?” With that common question in mind, Naumer and Koehler discussed on- and off-site search engine optimization, how to select the right domain name for your business, how to use social media effectively, and the positive effects of regularly posting to a blog.

Naumer also shared the following statistics:
> 70% of people who are looking for service-based professionals are doing so on the Internet.
> Over 400,000 location-based searches for specific industries are done every minute on Google.

“It was great to be a guest and discuss some of the common questions we get asked every day at PInow,” Naumer said. “There are so many factors that go into creating an effective web presence. We could have gone on for hours.”

The show, titled Online Marketing for PI’s – We Take Your Questions, aired on August 15th. PI’s Declassified has been hosted by Francie Koehler since 2010.
