Press Release

Development of technology is not slowing down anytime soon and is reaching all corners of the legal industry. It is important that process servers continue to look to new technology and how it is affecting the way they serve process and to attempt to stay ahead of the curve.

ServeManager's Blockchain Proof of Concept

Blockchain is a perfect example of how a seemingly unrelated technology advancement can be applied to service of process. Blockchain, an online ledger initially created for Bitcoin, could provide legal support professionals with an irrefutable ledger (or proof) of process serving data. ServeManager, Lawgical’s process service software, already created a proof of concept for this Blockchain technology.

Our process service + Blockchain proof of concept illustrates the importance of trustworthy and accurate evidence for lawyers, judges, businesses, and government officials when it comes to process service.

This proof of concept was presented at Legal Week in New York along with POC’s by Net Documents and Faskin. For additional media coverage of the proof of concept, please see Above the Law and Law Sites.

We at Lawgical and ServeManager work to stay one step ahead in order to provide process servers and legal professionals with the best modern services available. If you are interested in learning more about our software or other ideas on how technology is changing the legal industry, please contact us.
