Lawgical brands ServeManager and ServeNow attended the 7th Annual GAPPS Conference on March 2nd in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to being a vendor, the ServeNow team recorded each session and they will be available as continuing education credits for Georgia process servers. Look for these videos later in the month.

Along with around 40 to 50 attendees, the conference featured speakers Paul Tamaroff, Michael Reid, and Gary Crowe. Paul Tamaroff discussed the latest in relevant legislation including case law updates and ethics. His talk was peppered with questions from attendees so topics were fully covered and explored from different angles. Michael Reid shared some of his experience automating his business, from the software he uses to how he more effectively interacts with his customers. NAPPS administrator Gary Crowe discussed NAPPS membership and certifications for process servers across the nation.

According to Elizabeth Smith, a GAPPS administrator, the conference was, “the best opportunity to listen to excellent speakers who are addressing issues that relate specifically to process servers. It is also the perfect time to network with other process servers around the state and country.”

The Georgia Association of Professional Process Servers (GAPPS) believes in the mission of promoting a high level of professional and ethical standards for all Georgia process servers. They accomplish this via educational opportunities and promoting healthy relationships between process servers, the legal community, and the general public.
